Terms
Last updated October 21, 2026
These terms apply when you use HotHop to order from a restaurant or to list a restaurant. By using HotHop you agree to them.
What HotHop does
HotHop is an ordering service on WhatsApp. It takes your order, shows you the cart and total, and passes the order to the restaurant. The restaurant prepares the food and is responsible for it.
Orders
- An order is confirmed only when the restaurant accepts it. If the restaurant doesn't respond in time, the order is cancelled and you are told.
- Prices are the restaurant's menu prices. Tax is added at the counter. HotHop adds no markup or service fee to your order.
- Orders are for pickup. You pay the restaurant when you collect your order.
- Please check the cart before placing an order. HotHop shows exactly what it understood so you can correct it.
- For allergies and dietary needs, add a note and also confirm with the restaurant directly. HotHop can't guarantee what is in a dish.
Restaurants
- You must own or be authorized to run the restaurant you list, and keep your menu, prices and hours accurate.
- You are responsible for the food you sell, its ingredients and allergens, and for honouring orders you accept.
- We may pause or remove a listing that is inaccurate, misleading or not run by the person who listed it.
Fair use
Don't use HotHop to place fake orders, harass anyone, or send unlawful or offensive content. We may stop serving numbers that do.
Our responsibility
We work to keep HotHop accurate and available, but it depends on WhatsApp and other services and may sometimes be unavailable. To the extent the law allows, HotHop is not responsible for the food, service or conduct of restaurants, or for losses caused by events outside our control.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version.
